What are the costumes homemade dog-creation?

I want my dogs to participate in a fashion show for local dogs, but I do want to use one of the commercially available dog costumes. In the past, I used a toddler dog costume which was less creative among dogs. Do you have ideas for the creation and easy to make or assemble costumes for my dogs?

It really depends on the size your dog – since you mentioned a suit toddlers’ I’m assuming it is a great dog.
